Ultimate Justice! They are the action men of our time: Dacascos, Hues, Moeller, Rhea, Riehm, Tauro, Baker and… wait… Mike Leeder? Impact’s own HK kingpin is armed and danger-ish…
The first artwork has been released for the action thriller Ultimate Justice, produced by Silent Partners Ruediger Kummerle and Impact’s own Mike Leeder. The film which is currently in the final stages of post-production features a team of former special forces operatives who are drawn back into action for one last job when the family of one their own is threatened…
Mike assembled a very impressive team for the movie lead by Crying Freeman and Drive hero Mark Dacascos, Dark Angel’s Matthias Hues, One Million Klick’s Mike Moeller, Fearless’ Brandon Rhea, Mthis Landwehr from Lasko, although we’re not sure ref the casting choice for one of the supporting characters, Joe played by a bearded Leeder himself!
Yes, somehow Mike was determined to prove that the gun is mightier than the pen – and he has reassuring words for action fans…
“Don’t worry! I mostly play the face on the cutting room floor, the real actors get to do the acting!” he joked. “I just get to play a variation on myself in the movie, a sarcastic Englishman who eats too much, drinks too much and hits people with a shovel! The driving force behind the movie is a tale of brotherhood and betrayal, friendship, loyalty, love and honour, and we add plenty of high-impact martial arts action staged by the mighty Mike Moeller and his team, as well as guns, car stunts, helicopters and more. It’s all the good stuff!”
We had a fantastic cast & crew. Not just our leading men – Dacascos, Matthias, Moeller, Brandon, Tauro, Baker, Wolfgang Riehm, Henri Mueller, Martin Baden, Mathis Landweher, but also the supporting cast and stunt team gave it their all. It’s the same for our director Martin Bode, DOP Alois and all our crew. It was a real team effort and I can not thank everyone involved enough for all their hard work, and the blood, sweat and tears that were shed to make this movie. Thank you all!! he continued.
The film was shot on location in Germany, and promises to deliver plenty of bang for the buck. The ensemble cast certainly come across well from the look of the first teaser for the film…
A longer, story-arc trailer should be released shortly, as Silent Partners completes post-production and gets ready to deliver the film shortly.
