We’ve seen Jean Claude Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren together in a number of projects such as the Universal Soldier and Expendables outings, but as we’ve previously noted, their next get-together takes place below the waves in a thriller set aboard a submarine and plenty of close-quarter fight-of-flight (or is that ‘win-or-swim’?) stakes.
The Chad Law scripted screenplay finds JCVD’s deep cover operative awakening to find himself imprisoned in a CIA black site on a submarine and having to discover why he’s been compromised. Usually cast on oppossing sides of a plot, it will be the first time that Van Damme and Lundgren haven’t actually been trying to kill each other on screen!
