Alip Sak is the Indonesian action director who learned action-movie-making the hard way as a Hong kong stuntman, working on everything from Chinese Super Ninjas, Taiwanese TV and more, before making the move into producing and directing with the classic action comedy Nightlife Hero (which saw Mok Siu-chung and Chin Kar-lok battling the bad guys with some incredible action scenes). Since returning to Indonesia, Alip has unleashed all manner of action TV series including the Crying Freeman'esque Dara Dai Cinta, the superhero antics of Mahwa Mehra, and the gritty actioner Fight: City of Darkness.
His latest project hits Indonesian cinemas in early in Jan 2016. Bloody Revenge is a dark tale involving what happens to certain Indonesian females when they are brought to Hong Kong to work as maids. (In recent years there have been several cases where maids have been abused and even tortured with a couple of employers being imprisoned for their mistreatment of their helpers). Cinta Dewi comes to Hong Kong in search of her missing sister and uncovers a dark underground network involved in human trafficking and worse. The film also features Zack Lee , Sunny Pang and Hong Kong veteran Ng Chi-hong.
