Speaking of Gareth Evans, the trailer for The Raid 2: Berandal is now ready to hit the interwebs. It manages to combine the claustrophobic, close-quarters nature of the first film - even moreso putting its singular star alone in a small prison cell - but gives glimpses at how the premise will expand beyond those borders in the sequel and how intense the action we're expecting to see will actually be. If Iko Uwais can pound the bad-guys as hard as he does that wall, then they're defintiely in trouble...
There isn't a specific release date as yet, though it will defintiely debut next year and there are high expectations that it will duplicate and enhance the success of Gareth's first acclaimed outing.
